About Granṭhasāra
Welcome to "Granṭhasāra" a heartfelt initiative born from a passion for preserving and revitalizing the timeless beauty of Indian classical music and dance. Our humble journey unfolds at the intersection of tradition and modernity, where we strive to bridge the gap between ancient manuscripts and the contemporary world.
At the heart of our application is a commitment to diversity and authenticity, focusing on the rich essence embedded in the vast landscape of Indian classical arts. Through meticulous digitization, we acquire these precious manuscripts and unite them with scholarly research, breathing life into the intricate details of centuries-old texts.
Granṭhasāra goes beyond the boundaries of preservation. We are dedicated to actively reviving and interpreting this wealth of knowledge for the modern era. Our mission is to ensure that the legacy of India's performing arts continues to inspire, educate, and resonate with audiences today and for generations to come.
This work is a result of the funding by the IKS Division of the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India to the IKS Research project "Dhāraṇā" by the School of Performing Arts & Indic Studies at REVA University. Granṭhasāra is a testament to the collaborative spirit of cultural preservation. The project comes to life through the generous funding and support provided by the Indian Knowledge System and the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Join us on this humble yet impactful journey as we illuminate a path enriched by the wisdom of our ancestors. Together, let's explore and celebrate the profound heritage of Indian classical music and dance through the lens of Granṭhasāra.
